A Flying Visit
We had a flying visit from my younger son and his family last night when they stayed with us on their way to a holiday in Wales. This morning we took the boys to Millhouses Park so that they had chance to run around and play before continuing their journey. DH took all the photos on this post by the way.
Gabriel is obviously enjoying being on the climbing frame.
George with my beautiful DIL Francesca.
All together now! If you jump hard enough on this it makes a fountain of water fly up into the air.
Gabriel loves the slide.
George's favourite is the swing
A climbing wall! With a bit of help from dad I can make it.....
......to the top!
Wow! It's a long way down!
Over we go! Dad's there to lend a hand again. Then it was time to go back to granny's house for some lunch before heading off to the seaside. Let's hope the sun shines for them.
What beautiful grandsons, Rowan. It looks like you had a fun visit with them!
ReplyDeleteYou certainly have a lovely family, Rowan. As you can appreciate, I was reliving my childhood through George's adventures.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful children, Rowan! Looks like they were having a great time and, of course, you did too.
ReplyDeleteGlad to see everyone had such a fun time, Rowan. Fingers crossed for the weather!
ReplyDeleteMy, how they've grown! I'm sure you will have enjoyed their visit very much indeed.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun day - glad they got to stop by for a bit.
ReplyDeleteThe water spouting 'thing' seemed to be well like by your grandsons, they had the biggest smiles on their faces. You have a beautiful family in them Rowan!
ReplyDeleteHappy days, and is that you I spied with a white blouse holding a football? Hope your wrist is mending, and also - you've never been to Somerset? The north Devon coast and that of west Somerset are definitely a must for a visit aswell as Exmoor, and it is a very friendly area.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful grandsons. It's always good when our children come home, even if it's a flying visit.
ReplyDeleteA handsome family--and what a fun day out.
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous looking family. We came past Millhouses Park this afternoon. We always used to go there when we were kids. I used to love th paddling pool and couldnt wait to be grown up to go in the Lido - sadly gone before I grew up!! xxxx
ReplyDeleteFrancesca, a beautiful name for a beautiful Lady.
