Therefore all seasons shall be sweet to thee,
Whether summer clothe the general earth
With greeness, or the redbreast sit and sing
Betwixt the tufts of snow on the bare branch
Of mossy apple-tree, while the nigh thatch
Smokes in the sun-thaw; whether the eave-drops fall
Heard only in the trances of the blast,
Or if the secret ministry of frost
Shall hang them up in silent icicles,
Quietly shining to the quiet Moon.

A New Twig on the Family Tree

Last week brought us a new arrival to join the family, my eldest son and his wife had a second little girl on Tuesday March 3rd so Kaitlyn is now a big sister. Lucy weighted in at 8 pounds 2 oz.

Cousin George is pleased that he's no longer the littlest one in the family. He made the journey up from Suffolk on Friday night along with...

...his brother Gabriel. Both went over to meet their new cousin and to spend some time with cousin Kaitlyn. He already has an aunt Lucy in Suffolk so saying his new cousin's name is no problem - she is Luce (sounds like loose).

'Another baby?' says Bilbo Baggins. 'I think we need more dogs in this family!'

Congratulations, what a lovely thing to celebrate. Poor old Bilbo Baggins, he really will feel outnumbered - though he looks as though ha has a wonderful life and little to grumble about!

Congratulations on a brand new granddaughter!

But I agree with Bilbo B. You need more dogs in the family to spread around the ear pulling!
