Therefore all seasons shall be sweet to thee,
Whether summer clothe the general earth
With greeness, or the redbreast sit and sing
Betwixt the tufts of snow on the bare branch
Of mossy apple-tree, while the nigh thatch
Smokes in the sun-thaw; whether the eave-drops fall
Heard only in the trances of the blast,
Or if the secret ministry of frost
Shall hang them up in silent icicles,
Quietly shining to the quiet Moon.

Back Again!

My daughter-in-law keeps asking me to start writing blog posts again so here I am. I've decided that even though it's several months since my visit to Spain I'm going to begin with that. Reading back through the years I've realised that I really enjoy reading about all the places I've visited and it's a far better record than just photographs. My memory is a little hazy after all this time but I've done my best:) This is just a starter post with a photo of Bilbo Baggins taken in March up on Blackamoor. He's 12 years old now and still going strong in spite of only having three legs and is still perfectly capable of doing all our old walks. So here we go again!

Oh happy day - Rowan is back and I'm celebrating!!!!!
You have been missed, and while I've been busy traveling some, gardening, doing family things such as a wedding and currently a graduation, I've often thought of you my dear.

I'll be coming to England soon - order sunny skies please - granddaughter's graduation gift is this trip and we want it to be special!

Glad dear Bilbo Baggins is still taking you 'walkies' through the lovely English countryside.
Hugs - looking forward to your posts.

I feel the same way, reading back through posts. It's like re-visiting my life, and I enjoy the memories. Well worth the time spent recording it all.

Glad to see you back, and hooray for Mr. B. Baggins. I'm glad he's still going strong. I lost my 16-year-old cat in April, and then in May, I lost my 11-year-old baby girl kitty to kidney failure. In all the years I've had cats, this is the first time I've only had just one. I was interested to read your first blog post on Spain. I spent four lovely days in Barcelona in the 1970's and seeing your pictures brings back memories.
