Therefore all seasons shall be sweet to thee,
Whether summer clothe the general earth
With greeness, or the redbreast sit and sing
Betwixt the tufts of snow on the bare branch
Of mossy apple-tree, while the nigh thatch
Smokes in the sun-thaw; whether the eave-drops fall
Heard only in the trances of the blast,
Or if the secret ministry of frost
Shall hang them up in silent icicles,
Quietly shining to the quiet Moon.

Off to the Coast

We're off to our house on the Lancashire coast for a week or two - depends on the weather how long we stay. This is the Wyre Estuary where Bilbo Baggins has his daily walks when we are over there.

We are hoping for better weather than this!

Ah, it looks just heavenly. How I wish Edward and I could join Bilbo on his walks!

Have a wonderful time! It sounds lovely, even if the weather doesn't cooperate.

I mentioned Winston Churchill's Missouri connection, in my post today.
